A field experiment was carried out during kharif season 2023 at the Agronomy research field in United University, Rawatpur, Jhalwa, Prayagraj (U.P.) to study the effect of spacing and nitrogen on growth, yield and economics of kodo millet (Paspalum scrobiculatum L.). Ten treatments were evaluated in randomized block design with three replications. The results revealed that the treatments of T9 (spacing 40 x10 + Nitrogen 125 kg/ha) proved the most beneficial for growing kodo millet. Application of 125 kg/ha N fertilizer gave Number of panicle (6.14/plant), Number of grain per panicle (165.46), Number of productive tillers/hill (5.97), Test weight (5.84 g.), Seed yield (t/ha) (2.16 t/ha), Straw yield (6.54 t/ha) Biological yield (ha) (9.70 t/ha), Harvest Index (24.38%), Cost of cultivation was recorded in treatments T3 (Spacing 20 X 10 cm + nitrogen 125 kg/ha) (24875.50 Rs/ha). Gross returns (Rs/ha) 47771.20/ha. Net returns (Rs/ha) (50817.19/ha) Benefit cost ratio (2.10,) Both these packages may be followed to achieve sustainable productivity of kodo-millet. The lower values of all the para meter were recorded under control T10.
